I had my first driving lesson today (yes, so many years late in the game but better late than never). It went very well. Basically it was just me getting used to controlling the vehicle and looking in all of those mirrors. Oh and all those buttons too. We basically went step by step the way they will do it on the test. I'm a very good parker, I made it into the space on the 1st try :) Too bad the next time I'll be around with this person is in Mayo. Ah well, at least he understands how important this is for me both personally and career wise. He said he's definitely willing to teach me more (free of charge!). So, one down , it's a start. I'm excited to move forward.
